PROJECTED RESULTS

  1. Publication of 500 copies of the general graduate follow-up instrument and policy manual, to be distributed to Latin-American and European universities (250 copies will be in Spanish and 250 in English).

  2. Creation of a “Graduate Site” in 2 languages, in which the experiences of the project, its results and links to network member institutions will be posted. There will be articles in diverse media related to higher education institutions.

  3. Survey of 1,000 universities in Europe and Latin America to discover their specific position regarding the existence of systematic graduate follow-up programs. Analysis of the obstacles that institutions face in conducting a systematic follow-up.

  4. Self-diagnosis guide for universities published on the Internet and CD ROM (in this case, 500 CD ROMS will be produced in English and 500 in Spanish).

  5. Material for training university directors and technical personnel in graduate follow-up:
    a) Training workshop programs
    b) Survey models
    c) Compilation of previous cases/experiences
    d) Basic policies and outlines
    e) Institutional efficiency/effectiveness indicators
    f) Evaluation instruments

  6. Formal agreement between the network members for forming a Euro-Latin-American network to provide permanent follow-up, support and training on the topic of graduate follow-up.

  7. Informative dossier for public organizations that are related to the organization of national graduate and university employment observatories.
