| GRADUA2 PROJECT BRIEF OVERVIEW OF ACTIVITIES
The project will be developed in three phases. A meeting will be held for each phase for all the network members.
During the first meeting, the activities for the next phase can be planned and the preliminary design of the work materials decided upon, including the survey on the state of the art in European and Latin-American universities.
In the intermediate phase, apart from applying the instruments designed during the first phase, the directors and technical personnel from other, less experienced universities, but who are interested in this topic, will be invited to learn about the network members’ practices and to identify with them the most common obstacles, as well as useful strategies and competencies for overcoming them. National officials in charge of the university or employment service areas will also be invited to this phase so that they can share their experiences, in order to stimulate the organization of national graduate and university employment observatories, as well as other, similar support mechanisms for graduate follow-up. Taking into account the political and technical nature of the processes related to the graduate follow-up program, each network member institution will participate in this phase with a director and a technical official or the academic manager of the area of statistics, i.e. the person who makes the decisions and executes them or who provide s the technical knowledge required for their execution.
The purpose of the third meeting will be to reach conclusions, evaluate experiences and progress resulting from these activities, and to review the material to be published.
The period between each meeting will be used to carry out any necessary tasks to make the best use of these meetings, and the participation of a larger number of people from each institution is anticipated.
